Kelly, we've found the key to getting a good sandwich is to lightly toast the bread first so that it stands up to the juice from the meat and the sauerkraut. That way you aren't left with a soggy sandwich!

Milehimamma, it's a bit more work, but I've found that it's worth it when we can make it happen. Plus, I love making the kids help with the pinching and sealing.

Those spring rolls sound delicious as does the cornish hens. I always thought that they would be hard to cook with but I keep seeing them on menu plans so I might have to give it a try. Have a great week!

Ole's on a curling team? My daughter dated John Schuester (sp?) once. ***captain of the US curling team. Sorry if you knew that already. They both went to school at UMD.
Those chicken spring rolls sound so yummy. As does the pit beef. We're doing a huge pork roast tonite and then pulled pork sandwiches later this week. Have a good one!

Oh, you are such a good cook to make the ravioli! I've been buying that exact kind - spinach and ricotta - frozen from Central Market. Love it! Yum!
