Goodness it’s been a busy week. First and foremost, I have some exciting news. A few weeks ago, Tanna from Complete Organizing Solutions asked me to be a regular contributor to her blog. Tanna is a professional organizer in the Nashville area, and her blog is dedicated to helping you become organized and clutter-free. I’m thrilled to be part of the family over there and to be sharing some organizing tips for the kitchen. My first post went up Friday and was all about planning ahead to keep your Thanksgiving dinner stress and worry free.
Monday – Leftover roast turkey rice casserole, roasted butternut squash with sage and pine nuts
Tuesday – Chipotle Lime chicken legs, basic Mexican rice
Wednesday – Seared Ahi Tuna, steamed rice, firecracker shrimp with sweet chili sauce
Thursday – Leftover roast turkey soup (I made the broth this weekend), White Whole Wheat Bread from Healthy Bread in 5 Minutes a Day
Friday – Memories of a summer past: beer brats, sauerkraut, grilled asparagus
Recipes to look for here at Food for My Family this week: Roast salsa coming right up, pumpkin bread reminiscent of Starbucks and chicken stew. Next week I’ll be covering ways to use your leftover turkey, including how to make turkey broth from the carcass.
